I, mrkwang, personally have known a guy who plays guitar & did some recording in his own room, and heard he made some music into MP3, under the name of 500 Won. I thought some of his music were very cool, and I wish it could be released as CD.

Time has passed, and he told me. Some guy re-named his MP3 as Sigur Ros w/ Mogwai, and it was spreaded all over the internet. You might know several fake MP3s before, but this one became too famous. He didn't have any regular or demo CDs at then, so there's no way to prove it.

More time has passed, I became to sell Korean DVD & CDs abroad, and decided to release his own CD by myself. In fact, it was scheduled to be opening ceremony for my new internet store. But it was delayed too much, and I don't still have my own store, mrkwang store, so just 500 Won 1st. Demo [Um Han] is here, under the name of mrkwang production.

He tried to contact Sigur Ros & Mogwai through e-mail to tell them the truth, but to our sad, it was all unanswered. But fortunately, 500 Won personally met Sigur Ros while they were in Korea, he handled his Demo CD to Sigur Ros, and now their official FAQ was changed, which has 500 Won name inside.

However, 500 Won 1st. Demo was released, just 500 copies, and retail price is 5,000 Korean Won & 5.00$.

But don't expect you could listen to 4 MP3 songs in this Demo album. He made 3-40 songs, mrkwang chose 9 + 1 of them. Only 1ST LOVE STORY is same song, and even MERONG was totally re-made into another one.
